Paridhi Mundra is an illustrator and creative based in Mumbai, India. She is a graduate from the Rhode Island School of Design with a BFA in Illustration and a concentration in Literary Arts and Studies.
Through her work, she is interested in exploring and learning how visual storytelling can create communities (digital & physical) that are infused with values of care & kindness. Paridhi firmly believes that holding space for multiple stories and creative expression allows us to understand each other and the world around us better.
Her work is grounded by research & writing, and she enjoys going down rabbit holes to collect new stories, ideas and thoughts that inform, surprise and challenge her. Currently, she is thinking about and is informed by community art practices; art & play; play & creative intervention in urban spaces; chasing quiet moments in Bombay; vernacular design in contemporary spaces; the city as a character; people as landscapes; libraries; nature documentaries; textiles and their processes; stories of women in the family; nostalgia and memories; the magical in the ordinary.
